Third SAMEurope Transnational Meeting at the University of Jyväskylä

On February 7-8th, the SAMEurope team met in Jyväskylä for the 3rd transnational meeting of the project. The agenda of the meeting included presentations and discussions on the project activities in each work packages.

Let’s talk about the project’s progress!

The project’s first results are explicit: the national systems for managing Dual Career are really different across partners’ countries. Accordingly, the SAMEurope consortium is a heterogeneous group with regards to the support that each institution provides to student athletes. However, the work carried out for the Guide of Good Practices shows that there are common points in the support provided to DC students. The next step for the task force is to collect and classify the set of good practices that could benefit student athletes in the different universities of the consortium. To this end, the task force designed a questionnaire to identify, gather and assess the needs and barriers of DC students in the frame of their Erasmus+ mobility project. This questionnaire will be sent to about 500 student athletes registered in the partner institutions.

The Guide of Good practices will be released in January 2024. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed!
