What attracted you to the SAMEurope project?
I became part of the team to replace a colleague on maternity leave. The innovative outline of the project and the wonderful international team attracted me immediately.

What do you expect from it on a professional and personal level?
I hope and expect that dual-career students will have a better follow-up within their universities. At KIT, students do not register as dual career students, therefore a follow-up is difficult. Partner universities within the project already have a better follow-up and it would be great to use the synergies from the project. Promoting mobility, in general, is also important to me at a personal level as an International relations officer and for the KIT as an institution.

The project was launched in June 2022, what benefits have you already gained?
Besides having a great time working in an international team with wonderful colleagues, I also learned a lot about sports in universities. I discovered sports I didn’t even know existed!

Please tell us a fun fact about the project.
Playing Petanque to get to know my colleagues in a Boule Bar in Sweden, where everyone talked French was definitely a funny and unexpected experience!
